Nerthus Kennels - Saint Bernards Nerthus Cattery - Exotic Cats
Nerthus Kennels Saint Bernards

Our Puppies

  • Our Saint Bernard puppies are CKC registered.
  • Our puppies are available to their new homes at eight weeks of age.
  • Our puppies live in our home until about six weeks of age and are then moved to an indoor/outdoor puppy area at Nerthus Kennels to get an early start on their house training.
  • On nice sunny days our St. Bernard puppies go to a puppy pen on our front lawn and people walking down our road often visit and play with them.
  • We have an all breed pet grooming shop at our home and we offer boarding for dogs, so our puppies are well socialized with people and other dogs.
  • We also breed Long Haired Exotic cats that have the run of the house, so the puppies have also been introduced to cats.
  • Our St. Bernard puppies go to their new homes having had all their dewclaws removed.
  • Our puppies are wormed at least twice and usually go home worm free.
  • Our puppies will receive their first set of shots and be vet checked at about 7½ weeks.
  • Our St. Bernard puppies are tattooed for identification.
  • Our puppies are CKC registered. We will fill out the registration forms while you are here. When the CKC registration papers are received, their individual CKC numbers are recorded in my breeding book, and then the registration forms and a pedigree, specific for your puppy, will be forwarded to you. (By law, when you purchase a puppy you must receive the registration certificate within six months of date of sale. You will have them much sooner than that from Nerthus Kennels.)
  • Our puppies come with a two-year guarantee against any life threatening genetic problem.

You will receive:

  1. A health record printout for your new puppy, as well as the vaccination certificate from my vet.
  2. A 1-inch binder of notes that we have collected over our 35 years breeding Saint Bernards. I am available by phone or email for the life of your dog!
  3. Puppy's papers and a pedigree specific to your puppy.
